- CE HOA CC&R Section 9A.07 allows political signs 90 days prior to the election date on which candidates or issues will be voted upon. Further, RSCO 38-33.3 allows for political signs to be up 7 days past the election date. This equals 97 days total for each candidate or issue balloted.
- The Board also wishes to clarify that, as long as the display does not obstruct the view of any homeowner nor presents a potential safety hazard, the display of the American flag on a unit owner’s property, in a window of the unit, or on a balcony adjoining the unit is acceptable if the American flag is displayed in a manner consistent with the federal flag code, P.L. 94-344; 90 stat. 810; 4 U.S.C. secs. 4 to 10. Additionally, the display of service flags denoting the service of the owner or occupant of the unit, or of a member of the owner’s or occupant’s immediate family, in the active or reserve military service of the United States are also allowed.
